Untitled Self Portrait Series, 2018 - Present
Below is my untitled self-portrait series. My process is straightforward: I position my iPad camera to capture my reflection and draw what I see. Often, I exaggerate certain features, departing from reality. I experiment with unconventional hair colors, vibrant makeup, and simplified backgrounds. The majority of these pieces are created in pastels, with one done in graphite. All works are rendered on Strathmore toned tan sketch paper.
